Langtang valley trek offers a quick getaway to discover the glaciers, mountains, high-altitude lakes, and pine forests of Langtang National Park (1710 km2). The park treasures mount Langtang Lirung (7246 m/23766 ft) and numerous ice-capped peaks, grassy lawns,s, and alpine meadows. During the Langtang valley trek, you can observe an estimated 3,689 species of flora, 1043 species of vascular plants, 46 species of mammals, 345 species of birds, and 30 species of fish. Langtang National Park is home to Snow Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Musk Deer, and Red Panda. Bird species symbolic of the Park are the Impeyan pheasant, Ibisbill, White-winged redstart, and Snow partridge.You will start this trek by taking an 8 hours bus drive to Syabrubesi. From there you will trek along the Langtang river and get to Kyangin Gompa (3,049/10000 ft). You will hike to Kyangjin Ri (4350m/14268 ft) from where you can experience a panoramic view of the Langtang range. You will continue trekking further to Langshisha and Tesrgo Ri from where you can get stunning views of mount Dorje Lakpa and Shisapangma. After then you will trek back following the same trail. Throughout the trail, your guide will tell you interesting details about the park.
