Trip Itinerary

Upon your landing at the Tribhuwan International Airport and passing through customs and immigration, you will be greeted by our representative. So shall then be transported to your designated hotel. After checking in and refreshing yourself, you will join other members of the group for a briefing on the Everest Panorama Yoga Trek. Our guide will provide you with useful information about the trek, your stay in Nepal with us, and some details about practicing yoga during the trek. In the evening, you will enjoy a welcome dinner in an authentic Nepalese restaurant with a Folk Culture program that will entertain you as you dine.
In the morning, you will leave your hotel to embark on an exciting tour of Kathmandu. You will visit numerous places of historical and religious significance in Kathmandu city and the surrounding valley. These sites include the Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Pashupatinath Temple, the Bouddhanath Stupa, and the Swyambhunath Stupa. All of these sites are listed as World Heritage Sites. In the afternoon, our Yoga Guru and the instructor will teach you about suitable yoga asanas or postures for trekking. The remainder of the day will be free for you to relax and prepare for the Everest Panorama Trekking, which will begin with an early morning flight to Lukla.
We will begin our day early with a transfer to the domestic airport for a short and scenic flight to Lukla. The flight will take around 30 minutes and you will be able to enjoy amazing panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain range, including Mt. Everest. The plane will land on Lukla's unique uphill runway at Tenzing & Hillary airport. After landing, we will start our trek with a leisurely walk downhill through several Sherpa farm villages with well-tended crops and vegetable fields, terraces, and occasional views of the snow-capped peaks of Kwangde and Kusum Khanguru. We will arrive at our first overnight stop, Phakding, where we will stay in a comfortable and cozy lodge located by the Dudh Kosi River. If time permits, we will gather in a suitable spacious room or on the lawn for a short yoga exercise led by our Yoga Guru and Instructor. They will guide you through different postures or Asanas, helping you to relax and connect with your body, and breath amidst the beautiful natural surroundings.
Start your day with an invigorating one-hour Yoga session before breakfast. Then, embark on a long uphill hike to the famous Namche Bazaar. The journey begins with a gentle stroll upstream along the Dudh Kosi River, crossing a few bridges to reach the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park near the village of Monjo. Sagarmatha means Everest in Nepalese, while the Sherpa people refer to it as Chomolungma, which translates to 'Great Mother' in both Nepalese and Tibetan. As you climb up through the forested trail, enjoy breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks. Finally, after a few hours of hiking, you'll arrive at the exciting Namche Bazaar. If time permits, participate in a Yoga session with our experienced instructor in a suitable space at your lodge
In the morning, follow the Yoga routine as per the given time by our Instructor and Guru. Today is a free day for necessary acclimatization at Namche Bazaar before heading to higher areas. Namche Bazaar, located above 3,440 meters, is an ideal spot for a free day at this altitude. Spend the day in Namche by taking a scenic hike to viewpoints facing Mt. Everest-Ama Dablam and other ranges of peaks. In the afternoon, explore the streets and shops of Namche. This vibrant town holds a colorful and busy Saturday Market once a week.
After an early morning Yoga session on the lawn with stunning peak views or in the large dining hall, have a hearty breakfast before departing from Namche. The walk leads you on a gradual and scenic path downhill to the Imjatse River at Phunge-Tenga for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy an uphill climb through rhododendron, pine, and fir forests with breathtaking views of snowcapped peaks. After a few hours of climbing, you will reach Tengboche Monastery, where you can admire magnificent views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Kangtenga, Thamasarku, Kwande, and Amadablam. Take some time to visit the monastery and observe the monks and priests during their prayers. Tengboche is a picturesque and stunning location where the Mani-Rimdu festival is held once a year in mid-October or November. During this festival, you can witness monks adorned in different deity masks, warding off evil spirits.
After breakfast, we will begin our walk downhill with a magnificent view of the mountains. After an hour, we will reach Phenge-Tenga by the river, where we will climb for a while before continuing gradually to the scenic glacial valley where Khumjung village is located. Khumjung is an ideal spot for Yoga amidst the beautiful forest and mountain views of Everest Panorama. Here, you can visit its ancient monastery, which is believed to be over 500 years old and holds a scalp believed to belong to the Yeti. The rest of the afternoon is free to admire the stunning views of Khumbila peak (the patron God of Khumbu Sherpa), Amadablam, and Everest. Later, we will visit the only hospital in Khumbu, built by the late Edmund Hillary and the Himalayan Trust Foundation. After an interesting insight into the area, we will walk downhill to Khumjung for an overnight stop
After the morning Yoga session, the trek starts with a gradual uphill walk to Khunde, a charming village known for its hospital built by Edmund Hillary and the Himalayan Trust. You can learn about the history and profile of the hospital before descending to Namche Bazaar to explore and browse. From there, a long descent brings you to the confluence of the Imajatse and Bhote Kosi rivers, which join to form the Dudh Kosi River. The trek continues along the river bank to Jorsalle, followed by a short, steep climb to the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. After passing the area, you will arrive at the beautiful village of Monjo, where you will spend the night.
On our final day of adventure, we will begin with a Yoga class in the morning. We will then descend towards Monjo village, passing through the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park and crossing a long bridge to reach Phakding. From there, we will walk towards Lukla, which involves both uphill and downhill sections, with a final ascent of an hour to reach Lukla for our last overnight stay in the Khumbu and Everest region. If time permits, we will have a special Yoga session in the late afternoon
After an early morning flight from Lukla, enjoy stunning views of the mountains during the journey to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at the domestic airport in Kathmandu, our staff will transfer you back to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax and unwind after an incredible and memorable Everest Panorama Trekking experience.
Your journey home begins today. Our representatives from Trek Around Himalayas will escort you to the International Airport in accordance with your flight schedule. It's recommended to arrive at the airport three hours before your flight. Trek Around Himalayas will provide a fond farewell, ensuring that your experience with us is remembered forever.
