Overview

The Everest Expedition in the Himalayas presents one of the world’s most noteworthy physical and mental adventures with such a great sentiment of pride and the feeling of being the bravest individual on the planet. The South Col route on the Nepal side of Mt. Everest is the route taken by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa who was the first to climb Everest effectively on 29 May 1953 in this way turned into the world’s most well-known saints of the experience climbing. Expedition to mt. Everest has been effectively guided and climbed commonly from that point forward, yet this ought not to calm planned Everest climbers into carelessness – climbing Everest is a definitive test. To join our International Everest Expedition group in Nepal, you should have broad mountaineering background in climbing campaigns in any event of 6000 meters and also an affair of scaling troublesome snow-capped mountain tops, ideally, some climbing knowledge of the 7000 or 8000 meter tops in the Himalayas. Albeit settled ropes will be utilized, Everest campaign individuals must have the capacity to rise and drop settled lines freely and be capable of cramping on extremely soaked ice and snow inclines.

Trip Itinerary

Upon your arrival at the airport, be greeted by our representative waiting outside the terminal. They will escort you to the centrally located hotel in Kathmandu, and assist with the check-in process. After settling in, you can choose to relax at the hotel or visit our Trek Around Himalayas office to gather information about your trip. To cap off your first day, we will treat you to a warm welcome dinner.
The second day of the Everest Expedition itinerary is a city tour of Kathmandu, which is the vintage capital of Nepal and holds many ancient arts, temples, and monuments. The city tour includes visiting 3 to 4 world heritage sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swyambhunath Stupa. After the city tour, there will be some last-minute shopping at the marketplace, Thamel, before returning to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Starting your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you'll journey to Tribhuvan International Airport for an early morning flight to Lukla. Lukla serves as the entry point to the Khumbu and the entire Everest Region. Once you've landed, your trek will begin with a gradual uphill hike along the left bank of the Dudh Koshi River, passing by numerous Mani walls before reaching Ghat. From there, you'll encounter a mix of uphill and downhill trekking as you make your way to Phakding.

Your journey home begins today. Our representatives from Trek Around Himalayas will escort you to the International Airport in accordance with your flight schedule. It's recommended to arrive at the airport three hours before your flight. Trek Around Himalayas will provide a fond farewell, ensuring that your experience with us is remembered forever.
