Tour Route for Muktinath- Jomsom Jeep Tour
Our Jomsom Muktinath tour begins with a heritage sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. The following day, we embark on a 300km drive from Kathmandu to Tatopani, renowned for its natural hot springs. The journey continues with a rugged ride from Tatopani to the picturesque town of Jomsom, where we spend the day exploring the breathtaking beauty of the snow-capped mountains, barren hills, and ever-flowing Kali-Gandaki River.
The next day, we continue our journey to Muktinath to offer prayers and stay overnight. On the way back, we stop at Marpha, known for its delicious apples, apple wines, and brandy. Finally, we conclude the tour with a drive back to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu. The narrow and rocky roads from Beni to Jomsom and the gravel roads from Jomsom to Kagbeni provide an authentic off-road experience. Climate And Temperatures in Muktinath- Jomsom
During summer (March to August), the temperature typically ranges between a maximum of 16 to 18 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 6 to 8 degrees Celsius. At the beginning of winter (September to November), the temperature varies between 14 to 16 degrees Celsius and 0 to 4 degrees Celsius. In the peak of winter (December and January), the maximum temperature can be 4 to 6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature drops to 0 to -8 degrees Celsius
Permits and Necessary Papers- For Muktinath Jeep Tour
The Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) is required to visit Lower Mustang since it falls under its jurisdiction. The cost of the permit is approximately 3000 Nepali rupees and can be obtained from Kathmandu or Pokhara. For Indian nationals, the ACAP fee is Rs 200. To ensure the safety of trekkers, a TIMS card is mandatory, and the fee is $20 per person. Once you obtain this one-time entry and exit permit, you won't need to worry about the duration of your stay.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at the airport or bus stand, you will be welcomed by our representative from Trek Around Himalayas who will then transfer you to your hotel. After settling in, our representative will provide you with a briefing about the tour.
Day 2 : Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
After an early morning breakfast, there will be a guided sightseeing tour of major attractions in Kathmandu, including Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhnath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will then spend the night at the hotel
Day 3 : Kathmandu to Tatopani Drive
After an early morning breakfast, we will drive towards Tatopani, stopping at Manakamana temple on the way. Lunch will also be provided during the journey. The drive from Pokhara to Tatopani via Beni will take approximately 9 to 10 hours. In the evening, you can enjoy the hot springs at Tatopani before spending the night at the hotel
Day 4 : Tatopani to Muktinath (3710m)
After having an early morning breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your journey to Muktinath. The route will take you through Ghasa, Marpha village, Jomsom, Kagbeni, and finally to Muktinath at an altitude of 3710m. Upon arrival, you will walk for a few minutes to reach the temple where you can perform puja and worship. You can also explore the stupa and monasteries, as well as the Jwala Mai fire temple where there is a constant flame. You will spend the night at a hotel in Muktinath.
Day 5 : Muktinath to Pokhara
After an early morning breakfast, we will drive towards Pokhara via Kagbeni, Jomsom, Marpha, and Tatopani before arriving in Pokhara. You will spend the night at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 6 : Pokhara to Kathmandu
On the final day of your trip, start your day with an early morning breakfast, then visit Phewa lake and its surrounding areas before driving back to Kathmandu. In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner with Trek Around Himalayas
