Overview

Embark on a 4-day journey to Bardiya, starting in Kathmandu, where you will be amazed by its rich cultural heritage, architectural marvels, and exquisite wood and stone crafts. This tour combines cultural and wilderness experiences, offering a unique blend of both.

Next, travel to the Bardiya National Park, the largest and most pristine national park in the Terai region of Nepal. The park boasts 968 sq km of lush forest and grasslands, serving as a home to 53 species of mammals including the Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinoceros, and wild elephant, as well as 407 species of birds such as the white-rumped vulture, Bengal florican, peacock, and bar-headed geese.

Get up close and personal with nature as you participate in activities like deep jungle walks, bird watching, elephant safari, and boat safari. During your visit to Bardiya National Park, you will also have the opportunity to learn about the traditional Tharu culture of western Nepal.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Kathmandu to Bardiya

You will take a one-hour flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj or drive to Ambasa for more than 15 hours, located in western Nepal. After that, you will be transferred to Jungle resort where you will be offered refreshments and a briefing on the detailed program.

-Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and Lifestyle of the Tharus. Elephant breeding center visit and Sunset View from the Karnali river bank.

-Dinner and wildlife information before going to sleep.

Day 2 : Bardiya Jungle Safari

-Breakfast

-Half Day Jungle Walk. This an excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals, and birds and waits in the Tower (Machan) to have the wild sightseeing, accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wildlife tracker. Half Day Tiger Tracking & Bird watching. An excellent opportunity to see a Royal Bengal Tiger and a great many species of birds found in Bardia National Park. Packed Lunch will be provided. Excellent photographic opportunities are plentiful.

Day 3 : Jungle Safari

-Breakfast

-Full Day Jeep Safari inside Bardia National Park. An excellent opportunity to see wild animals and you will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Bardia their home. Packed Lunch will be provided for lunch. Crocodile breeding center visit.

-Dinner and sharing wildlife experiences before going to sleep

Day 4 : Bardiya To Kathmandu
